Let us start with a little bit of history first. In Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks jailed for refusing to give up her seat on a public bus to a white man. At the time, this was a violation of the city’s racial segregation laws. This violation turned in a successful Montgomery Bus Boycott, organized by a young Baptist minister named Martin Luther King, Jr. Rosa Park’s historic act of civil disobedience changed everything for public bus transportation. In 1955 Black people fought for a seat on the back of the bus. In 2020 a Black couple now owns a fleet of busses that feature Black business.
